About Volunteer Map

Connecting volunteers with opportunities to make a difference.

Our Mission

Volunteer Map aims to empower communities by providing a platform that connects volunteers with meaningful opportunities. Whether you're looking to give back locally or globally, we’re here to help you make an impact.

The Volunteer Map Project attempts to improve and make the process of finding volunteering opportunities more accesible.

The Project helps to visualise and categorise local volunteering opportunities using the map.

In the future we hope to be able to make not only joining but creating volunteer communities more accesible by providing the tools to reach out to likeminded communities within an area.

FAQs

Email volunteermapproject@gmail.com and we will add you to the map. In the future we hope to be able to offer features that allow you to upload and manage these yourself.

Map navigation consists of several key regions. On the top is the filter bar. You can expand this to provide a more catered search. The postcode input sorts the locations from the inputted location and shows the distance. You are free to zoom and move about the map. Clicking on an icon on the map will scroll to the respective sidebar details for that opportunity.

Use the reset button and reapply any settings you had enabled. If that still doesn't work, please email volunteermapproject@gmail.com and we try and fix the problem

If there has been no response for some time, please email volunteermapproject@gmail.com and we will help find a solution. It may be that contact details have changed since uploading and we will help find the new contact details.

Get in contact with them! In the sidebar most opportunties have a contact email. If not their website may have details on how to get involved.
